Welcome to Niyyah Nikah. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and legally able to marry to use Niyyah Nikah. The platform is intended for single Muslims seeking marriage.

2. Your conduct

• Provide accurate information and use your own photos.
• Treat others with respect and modesty (adab). Harassment, explicit content, or abuse is prohibited.
• No human trafficking (including for sexual exploitation), child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexual violence, or any illegal activity.
• No soliciting, scams, or commercial use.

3. Membership & billing

• Membership is £24.99/month, £19/month billed quarterly, or £16/month billed annually.
• Where a free trial applies, you will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; access continues until the end of your paid period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Renewals are automatic until cancelled.

4. Safety

We provide reporting and blocking tools and may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms. Always meet new people safely and involve your wali/family.

5. Acceptable use, consent & prohibited content

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate content removal and permanent account suspension (and, where appropriate, preservation of evidence and referral to law enforcement):

• Human trafficking & sexual exploitation. Human trafficking of any kind — including trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation — is strictly prohibited.
• Child sexual exploitation or abuse. Any child sexual exploitation or abuse (CSAE), and any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), is absolutely forbidden. We report such activity to the appropriate authorities (see our Child Safety Standards).
• Sexual violence & facilitation of trafficking. Sexual violence, coercion, or non-consensual sexual activity, and the facilitation, promotion, or advertising of human trafficking or sex trafficking, are strictly prohibited.
• Impersonation & profiles without consent. You may only create a profile for yourself. Creating a profile for, or on behalf of, another person, or impersonating anyone, is forbidden.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery. Uploading, sharing, or threatening to share intimate, sexual, or private images of any person without their explicit consent (including so-called “revenge” imagery) is strictly prohibited.
• Sharing others’ private information or images without their consent.
• Explicit or sexual content of any kind, consistent with our modest, marriage-focused purpose.

Acceptable Use Policy. Sections 2 and 5 of these Terms together constitute our Acceptable Use Policy. In addition to the above, you may not use Niyyah Nikah to engage in, facilitate, promote, or advertise any illegal activity, including child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexual violence, or the facilitation of human or sex trafficking.

To ensure members are real people acting on their own behalf, identity verification via Stripe Identity (government photo ID + live selfie) is required before a member can send messages or interact with others. All messages are subject to automated content moderation, and every profile and conversation can be reported and blocked.

6. Reporting, moderation & appeals

We operate a documented process for removing content and accounts that violate these terms:

• Reporting. Every profile and every conversation includes an in-app Report control and a Block control. You can also report concerns by email to support@niyyahnikah.com. In addition, all messages are automatically screened by content moderation that blocks profanity and sexual or explicit content.
• Review. Submitted reports are reviewed by our moderation team against these terms and our Child Safety Standards. We aim to review standard reports within 24–48 hours, and reports involving child safety, non-consensual imagery, threats, or other illegal content are prioritised as urgent. Depending on severity, we may warn the user, remove the content, or suspend or permanently ban the account. Banned account identifiers may be retained to prevent re-registration, and illegal content is preserved and reported to the appropriate authorities.
• Appeals. If your content is removed or your account is suspended or banned, you may appeal by emailing support@niyyahnikah.com. Appeals are reviewed by a senior moderator — where possible, one not involved in the original decision — and we aim to respond within 7 days. If the appeal is upheld, access is reinstated; if it is denied, the action stands. Decisions relating to illegal content are final.

7. Disclaimer

Niyyah Nikah is an introduction platform. We do not guarantee matches or outcomes and are not responsible for members’ conduct off-platform.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
